Layaways on Stores

Next time you go to a store, think about this. There is a section in most stores like Target and Walmart, called a layaway section. In these sections, people who can't afford gifts around the holidays can buy gifts, but pay a bit every time they come. But to make their lives a little more jolly, anyone can go, and pay of for the rest of the item. So, next time you go shopping for the holidays, think about clearing someone else's debt, and give them some Christmas Spirit!

iPad Wonders

So this week we got our new iPad 2s, and I have to say, they are fantabulous. There is no limit to what you can do on an iPad. If you use it the right way then it can be even more useful than a laptop or computers. The thing is, you have to use them right in order for them to be useful. If anyone has any recommendations for apps, then email them to me or comment on this blog. Fun fact: the two most expensive apps are the iVIP Black app, and the BarMax: California Edition app. You really need to be a millionaire to buy these $1000 apps!

My friend and I had an idea- what if we found 365 quotes, one for each day of the year. I started on my birthday, so I will end on November 24 2012. We will actually have to find 367, because it includes both birthdays, and the leap day. So, from you, I want your quotes. I want your friends' and families' quotes. I want famous quotes. November 24- My Birthday, the full history

I was born on November 24th. What I love about my birthday is that where I live, sometimes there is snow, and sometimes there is sunshine, which is usually a surprise. For example this year, there was sunshine, and bright green grass, and clear blue skies. That usually isn't the case. Three years ago, My friends and I went to the movies to celebrate, and we were ice skating in the parking lot! The other main fun thing about my birthday, is that I usually don't have school on it, as it is Thanksgiving Break, or in the case of this year, Thanksgiving! My birthday this year was on a Thursday, but as that isn't always the case, I went into some old calendars and did some research. I was born on a Wednesday. So, this is my first year of a Thanksgiving- Birthday. Wednesdays are usually considered lucky, in the United States. It is also said to be controlled my Mercury. I was born in the year of the rabbit, according to Chinese Zodiac, and my star sign is Sagittarius (the centaur), although most people think it is Scorpio. Apparently I have an undying optimistic attitude. My key planet and element are Jupiter and Fire. My colors are Green, Red-Violet and White. Although law is on my list of careers, music is not. Amazingly, India is not on my list. But, in a nutshell, I am optimistic. The number 24 in roman numerals is XXIV. In music, there are 24 major and minor keys. I really love my birthday- 11/24. I love how it all fits together, in almost perfect harmony. In the year 2035, it will be 11+24=35 (11/24/35). So just wait till then.

Beauty- What is it for you?

Beauty is a complicated adjective. Beauty can mean many different things, to many different types of people. For me, beauty is a term for anyone who thinks they are beautiful. The person should also be kind. For me, beauty can also mean something out-of-the-ordinary, that is nice. Like clothes. Beauty should not be affected by anyone, it should be something you believe and will stay that way. Be kind to someone, and they might regard you as beautiful. As they say, beauty is only skin deep!

My name is Ananya. Ananya is a Sanskrit name, that can be used for either a male or a female. When it is used as a male name, it is pronounced as "Ananya", with a short "a" at the end. When it is used as a female name, it is pronounced "Ananyaa", with a long "a" at the end.The way it is spelled in Hindi/Sanskrit (It's the same either way), my mother language, is: अनन्या. In Hindi, my name means "unique". My parents chose to name me Ananya because my mother thought that every child was unique and that the unborn me was unique as well.

Hello World

Hello World. I'm making this blog for a cultural identity unit for English Class. I think that this will be a fun assignment. So just to get to know me a bit. I love to play the piano. I have been playing for about 7 1/2 Years, and I don't want to stop. This is my first blog, so I'm a little new to how this works. I will post a list of fun things I like on my blog, so you all can comment on it. I also take requests if you want to get a message out to the world, but I do have limitations. For now, I really like Puppies, Pianos, and Chocolate (Milk only, no dark). List to come later.
